Welcome to my blog! I decided to start this platform as as a way to communicate and share what it’s been like on my journey with anxiety and panic disorder.
I do want to start by saying that I am in no way a therapist or mental health professional. Anything I write about is purely based on my experience and opinion.
My main goal in starting this blog is to hopefully reach others with similar mental health obstacles, by detailing my journey. I have suffered with anxiety and panic disorder for quite a few years now and I have learned various techniques on how to cope, how to pull myself out of the anxiety “spiral”, and how to push myself to continue doing & trying new things, no matter how much it may scare me. Don’t get me wrong, it took a lot of trial and error and even more practice, to find out what worked and what didn’t but keeping at it has certainly been worth it.
I’m not saying I’m an expert or guru, however, I have been able to progress to a place where I feel relieved and confident with anxiety, yet, I am still on a learning path and still seek guidance at times. I do feel that continuous learning is so wonderful and opens your mind to a world of possibilities.
